A boutique Pilates studio in Asheville, NC needed to escape the limitations and recurring cost of Squarespace. We rebuilt their presence on a custom stack, gave them control over their own content, and put them in front of the local searches that matter.

Platform Migration
Rebuilt the entire site from scratch in Next.js, preserving all existing content and URLs. Eliminated the monthly Squarespace subscription and removed the dependency on third-party plugins.
Custom CMS
Built a lightweight content management layer so the owner can update class schedules, instructor bios, and pricing pages independently — no developer needed.
SEO Strategy
Audited the existing site's technical SEO, fixed crawlability issues carried over from Squarespace, rewrote meta content, and built out local schema markup targeting Asheville-area searches.
Performance
Optimised images, moved to edge delivery via Vercel, and eliminated render-blocking scripts from third-party embeds. Core Web Vitals went from failing to passing across all metrics.
